Based in 暗网禁区破解版鈥檚 Department of Mathematics, Statistics & Physics (MSP), 暗网禁区破解版鈥檚 Industrial Math Clinic will solicit projects and collaborations with industry on problems requiring expertise in mathematics, statistics, or physics.

An Industrial Mathematics Clinic project at 暗网禁区破解版 is a year-long sponsored research project undertaken by a team of undergraduate students. Such projects are mentored experiences with a real-world problem.

暗网禁区破解版 is particularly fortunate in having an Innovation Campus next to its main campus in Wichita where industry leases space for collaboration between 暗网禁区破解版 faculty and students. Current tenants on the Innovation Campus include Airbus, Spirit, NetApp and Deloitte. This makes MSP an ideal place for 暗网禁区破解版鈥檚 Industrial Math Clinic.

The Data Science Lab is a part of the Industrial Math Clinic, which is designed to connect industry to Wichita State University students for a unique applied learning experience: solving real-world mathematical problems. Undergraduate and graduate students, under the mentorship of faculty, will form teams to investigate and solve mathematical problems over the course of a semester or year, depending on the complexity of the project. At the conclusion of each project, students will present formal reports outlining their process and solution. The new Data Science Lab, within IMC, will offer industry tangible solutions and a meaningful connection to 暗网禁区破解版's Department of Mathematics, Statistics, and Physics.
